Special iTunes interface at Starbucks
I've never really used Wifi at Starbucks before. I used to have a Verizon EVDO card for that type of thing. But I cancelled that to save $60/month, and now I'm on the same ATT wifi that all the other commoners are using. By chance I happened to open up the iTunes store while connected to this wifi, and saw something I never expected to see.... A custom interface.
This is pretty cool. Even though the most compelling feature, the "Whats playing in this store" feature, doesn't work, it's still neat. These customized interfaces based on location are probably something we'll be seeing more of as mobile access and computing becomes more popular.

Amazing dinner
This place in Downtown LA is fantastic. I highly recommend their unique sausages and great fries.
